Soy’s Vision and Leadership
“I was sad to hear that Randall Soy is leaving Regent Seven Seas after a wonderful, 30-year career,” said Jackie Friedman, president, Nexion travel Group. “He is an ultimate ambassador for the brand and has made so many key contributions. He is a joy to work with and will certainly be missed.”
In a press release, Regent Seven Seas Cruises said that as part of the team that helped launch the line in 1992, “Soy’s vision and leadership enabled him to rise quickly, developing a domestic distribution strategy and establishing the luxury line as a preferential partner with the valued travel partner community.”
“I cannot overstate the contribution that Randall has made to not only Regent Seven Seas Cruises, but to the cruise industry overall,” said Jason Montague, president and CEO, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “He has been instrumental in building the brand, developing an exceptional team, and delivering first-class results.”
Speaking about his time with the company, Soy said “I am very proud to have played a role in the growth of Regent Seven Seas Cruises over 30 years.” He thanked the travel partner community as well as the Regent family for the support, trust and friendship they showed him over the years.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is an ultra-luxury cruise brand with five ships carrying no more than 750 passengers. They include Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Navigator, Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Voyager.
In 2023, the line will welcome the new Seven Seas Grandeur.
